My Story
In May of 2023, I got to experience how empowering and healing a self-determined birth with loving support can be when I welcomed my baby peacefully at home. This profound process opened my eyes to the deep, raw power of birth and the importance of nurturing care. Navigating the tenderness and challenges of early postpartum, I also discovered the isolation many young families face, especially in Western society. This inspired me to deepen my connection to my Peruvian Wari-Quechua roots, remembering my grandmother’s teachings, and the original forms of mother-centered birth- and family care.
My healing journey led me to leave my corporate job and pursue my doula training, after which I set out to create a space where young families are supported, heard, and nurtured all throughout their transformative journey.
And so, mamacura was born out of a longing to heal, to (re)connect with myself and my roots, and inspired by the desire to offer the same nurturing care that transformed my own experience —because postpartum is forever.

My Approach
As a birthkeeper and doula, I see my work as a celebration of the innate beauty and strength of birthing bodies. Weaving my Indigenous background with evidence-based training and trauma-informed holistic care, I aim to gently hold you through all phases of parenthood so that you can experience a self-determined, empowering (re-)birth and enjoy the transition into parenthood consciously and healthily.
I am committed to honoring your choices and decisions. I will listen to you with an open heart at every moment of this magical and intense time to hold space, be aware of your needs and wishes, adapt my care to your journey, and be there with you every step of the way as a confidant and witness. I am not here to tell you what is right or wrong for you, but to give you all the necessary impulses you need to take good care of yourself and to make well-informed decisions that align with your values and desires for you and your child.
My Values
-
Compassion is the heart of my care. I strive to create a space where (self-) acceptance, kindness, and cultural sensitivity are at the forefront. I honor and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual, encouraging you to embrace compassion for yourself and others. Through every decision, every breath, and every moment, care is our guide, and your identity is always seen, respected, and celebrated.
-
My work seeks harmony between traditional practices and modern medical insights. By blending holistic wisdom with evidence-based care, I offer a balanced approach that honors both natural methods and the fast-paced realities of modern life. Whether it’s creating moments of rest or providing active support, my goal is to meet your well-being with practical, grounded care that respects both your needs and your culture.
-
The core of my work is connection. Your connection to your body, your baby, your intuition, and your support network. I’m here to hold space for your joys and challenges alike, ensuring that you never have to walk this path alone. You deserve to be held with dignity and respect at every step.
-
In the transformative experience of parenthood, focus is a guiding light. Mindful attention to your body, breath, and intuition is at the heart of my approach. Whether focusing on your personal well-being, your needs, or your choices, this principle supports you in navigating birth and parenthood with clarity, presence, and confidence.
